It has been only a week since Wordpress for iPhone 2 was released on the App Store, but the app has been downloaded by more than 20,000 iPhone/iPod users. No wonder…
Wordpress for iPhone 2 is an app that brings more Wordpress experience under your fingers. It has all basic features available in the first version, including support for multiple blogs, photo uploads, post previews, tags, categories and password protected posts. Moreover, it comes with a new interface that makes it easier to switch between comments, posts and pages. The comments interface also displays Gravatars.
It saves posts automatically and restores them if the network connection is lost during the publishing process.
Just like the first version, Wordpress for iPhone 2 is an open-source program, any iPhone/iPod user can download it for free.
To be noted, this new version does not appear as an update to the old version. Users have to install a new app, which runs along the older version.
